Skip to main contentFor his Cruise 2022 Collection, Nicolas Ghesquière envisions further horizons full of promise with a collection of forward-looking silhouettes.
Following its runway debut this spring at the monumental masterpiece Axe Majeur, the collection continues its visionary journey towards a new frontier. Echoing the fashion show’s expansive atmosphere, the campaign departs from earth to an infinite cloudscape that lies beyond.
An optimistic tone emerges as Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director brings together an ensemble of graphic, almost geometric silhouettes. Cosmic imagery, hybrid jacquards, intricate embroideries: the collection’s dense details and assertive shapes speak to its central premise of imagining a future full of promise.
Mixing the Maison’s founding year, iconic initials, and signature Monogram flowers, Nicolas Ghesquière’s SINCE 1854 jacquard returns this season in new interpretations. A range of colorful leather trims enliven sophisticated shades of ecru, while a delicately embroidered leather version elevates the Capucines and Twist bags.
