Travel Book Seoul – Artist's Edition

In Travel Book Seoul, creatives Mayumi Otero and Raphaël Urwiller distill the essence of South Korea's largest city in an exclusive run of 30 leather-bound tomes. These artists are at the helm of Icinori, a studio consisting of designers, publishers, screen printers and more. During their expedition to the Land of the Morning Calm, they experienced the traditions, heritage and day-to-day ongoings of the people who call it their home. Through Travel Book Seoul, Icinori conveys the many aspects of this hedonistic destination, from the citizens' routines to the plastic surgery studios. They also celebrate the tradespeople, shops and street food that seem to stake a claim to every corner of the city. According to the artists, "Seoul is an organic city, with astonishing creative energy and great visual elegance, as seen in its powerful design and sophisticated signage. Good taste is everywhere, sometimes a bit crazy, but universal. It is a mix of the baroque and the modern." Every large-format Seoul Travel Book is signed by Otero and Urwiller and is given its own individual number. Each also comes with a lithograph crafted by Icinori, a studio established when the artists were pupils at Strasbourg's Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 2007. In the following years, they journeyed, witnessed, sketched and collected artefacts with the immaculate sense of precision that led to their success. Between them, the pair have published approximately 30 publications and graced the pages of esteemed media such as Le Monde, The New York Times, Les Inrockuptibles, The New Yorker and Forbes. Louis Vuitton Travel Books draw readers into both imaginary and real-life journeys. They feature art by established as well as up-and-coming creatives who reveal the tales of the destinations they have explored. The creativity displayed in each publication is extremely varied: in the midst of their journeys, these global artists select their own means of communication, whether through manga, collage or illustration.

    • Standard Shipping: 2 Working Days for all orders placed before 1 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays
    • Express Saturday: delivery on Saturdays before 1 p.m. for all orders placed on Thursdays of the same week before 12 p.m. Please note that express Saturday delivery is not available for watches and jewellery.

    • Premium Shipping: 2 Working Days before 12 pm – €30
    • Collect in Store (store of your choice): 2 Working Days – Always Complimentary

    To collect your order from a store, you will be required to show:

    1. Confirmation e-mail
    2. Official photo ID (passport or driving license)
    3. Payment card used for the order

    If someone else is collecting your order on your behalf:
    Please make sure they bring these elements as well as their own ID card and a letter of authorisation signed by you.

    The store will keep your order for 15 days, after which this period, it will be cancelled and returned.
    Ready to wear : if you are picking up a ready to wear item, please note that not all Louis Vuitton locations offer fitting rooms and alterations. To find a location that offers these services, please check out STORE LOCATOR for a list of stores that carry ready to wear.

    Please Note

    • All orders containing a ready to wear item and an item of another category will be shipped in 2 parcels; you will receive 2 tracking numbers that might lead to different delivery times.
    • Our delivery courier is UPS (Chronopost for Monaco). Delivery estimates are indicative only and subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Working days are defined as Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, excluding public holidays in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Luxemburg, Ireland, Finland, Monaco and France. Estimated time is calculated from the moment the order is placed. Please note that deliveries can take longer to certain remote areas or if your order required additional security validation.
    • You can find your order's tracking number in your Shipping Confirmation email or go to the MY ORDERS page in your MyLV account.

    Exceptions

    • Please note that Mon Monogram, Mon Damier Graphite and My LV World Tour orders are delivered within about 8 weeks and made to order items are delivered within about 5 weeks in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Luxemburg, Ireland Finland and Monaco.
    • Availability for those products to Sweden and Denmark coming soon.

  • Payment

    Payments are accepted via credit card, debit card, or PayPal with a valid billing and shipping address within the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Luxemburg, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Monaco. Accepted credit cards are Visa, American Express, and Mastercard. Bank Transfers are not accepted.

    When placing an order, your billing address must correspond to the address of your credit card, or we will not be able to process your order.

    All transactions are secured. The Louis Vuitton website is provided with an SSL encryption system to protect personal and payment data.

  • Returns & exchanges
    Merchandise in unused and satisfactory condition may be returned for refund, store credit or exchange within 30 days of reception of the order.

    Items returned must be in perfect condition, unworn, and in their original packaging with any related accessories, instructions booklets, labels, protective covers, leaflets, or boxes. Perfume and candle products must be returned in their original packaging, and, in particular, the crystal film covering the box must still be sealed.

    Refunds will be made to the original purchaser, in the original method of payment and are available for purchases made on our website.

    Return in-store


    Items purchased online from the website or via our Client Service can be returned to any Louis Vuitton store corresponding to your billing address country. Refunds may take up to 14 days to be processed as the item has to returned to our eCommerce warehouse. You may return your item to the warehouse directly by following the procedure describe below.

    You will receive an email confirming your return request as well as all pickup details (except for Monaco where home collection is not available for returns), and a delivery label.
    Your cancellation will be effective from the date you call us.

    2. FILL IN THE RETURN VOUCHER
    The return voucher can be found in the envelope you received with your parcel along with your invoice and gift receipt. In the case of an exchange please specify the new item in the designated area on the form.

    3. PREPARE THE PARCEL
    Put your item(s) in the original Louis Vuitton packaging. Then if possible, place it in the original parcel and enclose a copy of the invoice and the return voucher duly completed. Seal the parcel.

    4. HAND PARCEL OVER TO THE CARRIER (for the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Luxemburg, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland and Finland)
    Hand the sealed parcel over to the UPS driver.

    4b. HAND PARCEL OVER TO one of Monaco's Post Offices (for Monaco) Hand the sealed parcel over at one of the 5 Post Office locations in Monaco.

    Upon receipt of your item(s), and subject to inspection by our Quality Service Department, we will proceed with the return. Refunds can take up to 14 days to be processed after the cancellation of the order

    Please note that bespoke or personalised items cannot be exchanged or returned. Watches or jewellery cannot be refunded unless purchased online or over the phone. No refund or exchange will be offered for swimwear or earrings for hygienic reasons.
