Louis Vuitton and French publisher Gallimard publish The Trunk, an anthology of short stories. Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the founder's grandson and a passionate collector, constituted fabulous archives of press articles about trunks' stories: cases about thefts, spies, princesses, lost or blood-stained trunks... Forty years later, eleven French writers could immerse themselves in these archives and brought them back to life. Eleven stories by Éliette Abécassis, Fabienne Berthaud, Marie Darrieussecq, Virginie Despentes, Nicolas d’Estienne d’Orves, Patrick Eudeline, David Foenkinos, Philippe Jaenada, Yann Moix, Véronique Ovaldé et Bruno de Stabenrath.
- The limited edition of this book was printed on pure thread 110g vellum paper by Darantière in Quetigny (France) and traditionally leather bound by Ateliers Babouot in Lagny-sur-Marne, France.- 356 pages
- Writers' portraits by Denis Rouvre, whose work has been published in the international press. He is the winner of the 2012 World Press Photo award for the “Single portraits” category.
- Fictional works are presented in chronological order and feature 40 colour documents illustrating the original source of each story. Published in March 2013 by the French publisher Gallimard
