Fashion Eye Iran

55,00€

London-born photographer Harley Weir explores Iran for the Louis Vuitton Fashion Eye collection, capturing the country's exceptional beauty and warm people. With a focus on the smaller details, the artist moves in close to make sense of the world, reinventing the magic of Persian miniatures. Nuanced observation mean her images speak for themselves. Self-taught and discovered through her blog, Weir is a true disrupter in the fashion photography field. Not afraid to take the path less trodden, she often shoots startling images of poverty including the migrant multitudes living in makeshift homes in Calais' infamous "Jungle" camp. Sometimes disturbing and always beautiful, her pieces instantly provoke thought. Featuring images from up-and-coming fashion photographers and established leaders in the field, the House's Fashion Eye collection is a celebration of the world's countries, regions and cities. Each title is packed with large-format travel images infused with the artists' unique style and point of view, lending a new twist to familiar places and bucket-list destinations. The third collection, after Louis Vuitton City Guides and Travel Books, presents extraordinary images accompanied with critical essays, interviews and biographical information.
