Louis Vuitton & People for Wildlife
As part of Louis Vuitton’s efforts to raise awareness and funds for UNICEF, the New Zealand international rugby union player recently visited the Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan to help children facing one of the world’s most challenging humanitarian crisis.
“After visiting Jordan and experiencing the amazing work that UNICEF is doing here, it has made me realize that no child should have to live in poverty, without water or without food. Every child deserves a fair chance in life […] Every child should be given the opportunity to grow up and fulfill their potential. By supporting UNICEF, you are helping provide the most vulnerable children with education, a safe environment to live and play in and hope for the future,” says Dan Carter.
UNICEF is the leading humanitarian and development organization working globally for the rights of every child. The aim of the LOUIS VUITTON for UNICEF partnership is to raise funds that help support children who are exposed to conflict, diseases, natural disasters and other situations that threaten their safety and well-being. Since January 2016, the partnership has raised more than $8m to help bring children life-saving humanitarian support, which includes children affected by the conflict in Syria.
