In continuation of the #MAKEAPROMISE campaign, Louis Vuitton is committed to raising awareness and funds to support UNICEF’s work to provide conflict- and disaster affected children with access to water, sanitation, nutrition, education, health and protection services.
By purchasing the Silver Lockit and Doudou Louis, clients have the opportunity to help children in vulnerable situations. Since its launch, the Louis Vuitton for UNICEF partnership has raised nearly US $13 million for children at risk. Join us.
Inspired by the tumbler lock invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890 to protect clients’ most precious belongings, the Silver LockIt was chosen as a symbol of sealing one’s promise to help children at risk. Incorporating recycled silver and organic cotton cord for the first time, the Silver Lockit bracelets feature the iconic padlock as well as the LV signature circular logo. In a rainbow of pastel colors, the Louis Vuitton for UNICEF Doudou Louis teddy bear is made from organically farmed cotton and is adorned with the signature Monogram textile with embroidered Monogram flower blue eyes.
Our goal is to help provide care and protection to the world’s most vulnerable children exposed to conflicts, diseases, natural disasters and other issues that threaten their safety and well-being. Louis Vuitton makes a promise to help these children through its support to UNICEF.
