The neighbourhood
The Beirut of today is recapturing the sophistication of its heyday. A beautiful Mediterranean beach city with artistic roots and a bit of Middle Eastern glitz, a palpable excitement can be felt as the capital rewrites its history.
Louis Vuitton is at home in the center of Beirut's vibrant downtown area. Restored souks line the periphery, cultured denizens mix with international visitors, and the golden architecture infuses the air with vitality
The facade
The gloriously restored 1920's townhouse in which Louis Vuitton makes it home calls to mind the sophistication of another era.
The interior
Architect Peter Marino imported classic Vuitton signatures inside the restored townhouse: beige and brown marble stone floors, off-white bleached Aniegre wooden paneling, a circular metal netting posing as the monogram flower, along with a collection of vintage trunks and luggage pieces displayed on the ground floor. It's two floors, 270-square-meters, of modern sophistication.
