Just like Monogram or Damier bags and small leather goods, Louis Vuitton hardsided items may also be personalised thanks to the My Catalogue service.

1854 - the year in which the House of Louis Vuitton was founded - saw the arrival of the first rectangular trunk with a flat lid, that could be stacked easily in the hold of an ocean liner or the baggage car of a train. From the historic Courrier Lozine 110 to the Coffret 8 Montres watch case, hardsided items have been an unfailing showcase for craftsmanship expertise.

To provide an even more exclusive offering, the My Catalogue personalisation service allows you to customise over 40 hardsided items. There is a choice of over 20 (canvas & leather) exterior finishes and almost 40 (microfibre & leather) lining options. With their personal signature, these utterly timeless pieces pay homage to the House's heritage while putting a modern spin on the luggage of days gone by.

This personalisation service is available in our Louis Vuitton stores. You may also contact our Client Services.

About Time Exhibition at the Costume Institute - Louis Vuitton Art & Travel NEWS
Announcing the upcoming Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition “About Time: Fashion and Duration,” made possible by Louis Vuitton.

The exhibit will trace more than a century and a half of fashion, from 1870 to the present, along a disruptive timeline, as part of the Museum’s 150th-anniversary celebration. Employing philosopher Henri Bergson’s concept of la durée—time that flows, accumulates and is indivisible—the exhibition will explore how clothes generate temporal associations that conflate the past, present and future. The exhibition is made possible by Louis Vuitton, with additional support provided by Condé Nast.

In celebration of the opening, The Costume Institute Benefit, also known as The Met Gala, will take place on Monday, 4th May 2020.  Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière will co-chair the event along with Emma Stone, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Meryl Streep and Anna Wintour.

    Personalization Exotic Leathers

Imbued with the spirit of travel that has inspired the House since the outset, the Louis Vuitton collection of perfumed candles is an invitation to escape and to dream.

Composed in Grasse by the Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, these fragrances immediately transport the senses. Like an olfactory snapshot, each one captures the atmosphere of an inspiring setting and brings it into the home. There, it opens a window onto a singular, exotic world, blurring the lines between interior and exterior, between here and elsewhere. Taking off is merely a matter of lighting the wick and closing one’s eyes. Nestled in daring ceramic containers designed by Marc Newson and crafted in Louis Vuitton's workshops, the candles feature a natural leather handle, an emblematic signature of the Maison, that gives them a pure and nomadic character.

Launched in 2018, the Louis Vuitton collection of scented candles now comprises six creations - or six getaways to savour right at home. Following L’Air du Jardin, Île Blanche, Feuilles d’Or and Dehors Il Neige, the collection has expanded to include En Mai, a bucolic and spring-like fragrance, and Écorce Rousse, a powerful pairing of leather and wood.
