LOUIS VUITTON FOR UNICEF: SILVER LOCKIT COLOR

As part of its LOUIS VUITTON for UNICEF partnership, Louis Vuitton launches its third edition of the Silver Lockit Colour bracelet for the summer on 21st June, in stores and on louisvuitton.com.

By purchasing the Silver Lockit Colour, clients have the opportunity to support UNICEF, contributing to efforts for children in vulnerable situations, such as in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, where UNICEF has deployed resources to help the children devastated by the two cyclones. Over 540 000 children have received lifesaving vaccinations – including one against measles, which is deadly when children are already ill or malnourished.

Since the launch of the Silver Lockit in 2016, the partnership has raised over seven million euros for UNICEF.

The Silver Lockit, inspired by the tumbler lock invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890 to protect clients’ most precious belongings, is a symbol of protection. It was chosen as a symbol of sealing one’s promise to help children at risk. The Silver Lockit Colour retails at 250€, 100€ of which is donated to UNICEF.
